The game is pretty good but I hate how the hook doesn’t go all the way to the wall and how i have to click it to go over the wall .

Thanks for pointing that out Estar!

I updated it with a tweak to let the grappling hook “overshoot” its target for 1/10th of a sec, so now you won’t have to click over the wall :) Thanks for playing!

    [EDIT]
Uploaded a new build to fix the highscores and the grappling hook issue ;)

Man, this game is awesome. So simple and so fun. The boss-fights are epic and his retro graphics sounds modern with the angle changes. You did well. Congrats!

That is good. Reminds me of being a kid with the NES, but with a brand new game.

nice one day turnaround on the ‘bug’ report about the grappling hook.

I’ve always thought LazyBrainGames to be exceptional. Do you or will you have any games released on XBL indie games?

Excellent game, very original and engaging. kinda has a contra-esque feel to the graphics. I love that it can be played with a touchpad.

Hi there – glad to hear that you’re working on a sequel. Without a doubt, Infernal Edge is your best release to date! :)

I recently wrote a few words about the game on my blog (www.rgcd.co.uk). There are a few criticisms, but most of it is constructive. ;)

    1. did u know that if u grapple onto the last boss, after it has turned around (with its back to you), and as the spikes are coming out it this will kill you.. but it is possible for you to re-appear as though still attatched to the last boss when it turns around again to face you – Therefore you are left in mid-air as though still attached to it.

    2. the first row of blades in the centre of the screen you come across – you can grapple through these – if u do (rather than just going straight up the wall) or if u let them kill you – the “mode 7 style” screen movement will not occur.

    3. Is there a timer on this game as I should be at number 1 on the high score not 56 ! :P Just kidding.
